PERSONAL // my absence

OK so its already been a month since I've posted... sorry for the absence! I didn't even want to do an obligatory "I'll be away for a while..." post because I didn't want to admit to myself (and you guys) that I wouldn't be blogging for a few weeks. 

The terrible thing about blogging is that it leaves me in front of the computer for long periods of time - we all know what it's like to get sucked into the Tumblr vortex - and after all, that's partly how we bloggers research and get our daily dose of inspiration. Unfortunately I have to remember that blogging is my hobby and sometimes I need to put efforts into my major life responsibilities - like work. I've also been exploring other things I enjoy like kayaking, surfing, reading, studying etc. 

I'm not done exploring! So I'm coming back soon, I promise :)

  3. Enjoy your time away! We all need a break now and again. I admire bloggers that post every day but it certainly is hard for me to even get around to scanning some of my favorites, let alone post.

  4. So so so true my dear! I should be at the beach right now with my partner surfing, but instead I'm stuck inside on such a beautiful morning doing blogging stuff. I guess in the end we have to know how far we'd go to get posts up and what we're wiling to miss out on. It's pretty tough, we put numerous hours into blogging every week (and every day!). Looking forward to your return, even if it's not so regular - you have to do what makes you happy! xx

  6. I've found myself getting carried away by life and forgetting to blog consistently so many times... and I don't think that's always a bad thing! Hope you're having fun, and I'm looking forward to the next post, whenever it is :) Xx
